Leavenworth

So for Labor Day my family made a day trip up to Leavenworth. It is a small German town just on the east side of the Cascade mountain range. We had a good time up there enjoying some good shopping (okay maybe dad and charlie didn't love that part as much) and some good ol' German culture.

This is my mom and dad. Dad may look a little funny but besides the fact that he is incapable of smiling normally, he also developed Bell's Palsy this summer and is working on getting the right side of his face to work again.

This is a shot of the mountains. they were beautiful that day and we had some lovely weather.

My Mom wasn't too thrilled with this photo, but oh well, i have the camera so i win!

I just loved the classic architecture and this giant willow tree was so pretty and pleasant to sit under!
